What is the Play Parks Improvement Project

    The play parks improvement project is a district wide programme to improve Teignbridge owned play parks. The project aims to target investment where it is most needed, improve the quality of play provision and make effective use of available Community Infrastructure Levy and S106 funding.

    How much funding is available?

    Around £3 million has been identified through Community Infrastructure (CIL) and Section 106 funding. 

    Will every park be improved?

    All 37 parks within Teignbridge will be reviewed, but investment will be prioritised based on quality, local need and provision, feedback from community engagement and available funding.
